How to Apply

• Review our grant guidelines to determine if your program/project fits within them. If you are unsure please contact us and we will be happy to discuss it with you.
• Complete our grant proposal form on a computer using the preset margins and font size. We do not accept handwritten proposals.
• Submit an electronic copy of your proposal before the deadline to  rshinkel@dekalbfoundation.org OR submit one printed copy to the community foundation at PO Box 111, Auburn, Indiana 46706.

Your proposal will be reviewed and evaluated by several people. Reviewing our grant evaluation formcould be helpful to you as you write your grant proposal.

Organizations that receive community foundation grants are required to submit a report within one year of the grant award. A review of our grant report form may help you clarify your program/project objectives.
