DeKalb County Community Foundation Grant Opportunities

The gifts of many generous people allow the community foundation to award grants to nonprofit organizations for charitable projects and programs that address today’s needs and prepare for tomorrow’s challenges. The grants are focused on meeting the needs of the people in DeKalb County, Indiana.

The amount of grant funds available from community foundation endowment funds is based on investment income from the previous year. The community foundation’s investments experienced negative investment returns in 2008. The foundation will continue to award grants in 2009 based on each fund’s purpose and guidelines but the amount of available grant awards is very limited.
