Mother Goose on the Loose Literacy Giving Circle
The DeKalb County Literacy Fund is a permanent endowment fund that supports literacy programs for people of all ages. The fund is supported by the Mother Goose on the Loose giving circle, a group of women with a passion for literacy. Giving circle members make donations to the fund and participate in making decisions about which programs receive grants from the fund.
Nationally, giving circles are a growing trend in philanthropy, allowing people of all means to participate in supporting a common cause. If you have a passion for creating permanent support for your favorite cause, the community foundation would love to talk with you about forming a giving circle.
