Multi-County 2012 Scholarships

Scholarships administered by the DeKalb County Community Foundation may be used for tuition, books, and required fees. Scholarship awards may not be used for room and board expenses.

For 2012, the DeKalb County Community Foundation has 4 scholarships available to students who live in multiple counties. The scholarships are offered in more than one county or in a specific district outside of DeKalb County, Indiana.

Floyd Deetz Food Service Scholarship

  • For a graduating senior from any public or private high school participating in the NE IND Food Service Association District, studying Restaurant & Institutional Management, Culinary Arts or a similar program.

Carol L Hill Memorial Scholarship

  • For a graduating senior from Garrett High School (DeKalb County, Indiana) -or- a child or dependent of a Courier employee (Kendallville, Indiana) pursuing any field of study.

Northeast Indiana Federation of Business & Professional Women Scholarship

  • For a female, 25 years or older, residing in DeKalb, Noble or Steuben County Indiana, wishing to start (or continue) a higher education leading to a certificate, two-year or four-year degree. This scholarship is open to any field of study

Dr James P. Spink Memorial Scholarship

  • For a graduating senior from an Indiana public, private or home school in DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble or Steuben County, Indiana, studying nutrition in conjunction with their college coursework.
